Avocado Trees are easy to grow. Print out and follow these simple instructions. The process takes a few weeks--but be patient and you can show off your green thumb!

Things You'll Need:
Avocado Pit, Toothpicks, Plastic cup, water, small plant pot with soil (in a few weeks)

Instructions:

Start with the pit of an ordinary avocado. Pierce pit with three toothpicks and set in a cup or small jar filled with water.

Make sure the cup stays filled with water. In a few days you may notice the roots and stem coming out.

In a few weeks, when the first leafing comes out of the top, snip it off.

Watch for a new branch to appear.
transfer it to pot 5 )
When the roots thicken, transfer pit into a pot filled with good soil. Leave a little bit of the top above soil.

Make sure you keep watering the plant every few days. Cutting back branches thickens growth. In a few months, your avocado plant will look great in your room!
